MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support radiology services in Watertown, NY. The MRI Technologist will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. This role requires adherence to all applicable state and federal licensing and registry requirements and supports quality patient care within a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MR or equivalent registry.
• State licensure as required by New York for MRI practice.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum one year of MRI experience required by the client. Two years of MRI experience listed in the standard description is noted as preferred (see Preferred Qualifications).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years' experience as an MRI Technologist as noted in the standard job description.
• Demonstrated ability to work variable shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1100-1900.
• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Ability to work primarily 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., with potential for variable shifts as needed.
• Candidate must be willing to comply with a 100-mile radius rule as specified by the client.
