Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia

Job Duties: Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: LTC experience

Are there IVs or titratable drips?: NO

Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: NONE

Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: NO

DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: DON, no supervisors

Physician availability after hours: By phone on-call

Interdisciplinary Team: no rehab beds only LTC

PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians?: PT as needed, Social worker designee

Is RT on-site 24/7?: NONE

Oxygen Therapy /Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Concentrators and portable concentrators

Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: Off site

Shifts & Scheduling: 12hr shifts 7-7, No blocked schedule & no self-scheduling

Weekend Requirements: EOW

Holiday Requirements: Every other major holiday

Call or Standby Requirement: NONE

Floating Requirements: NONE

Scrub Color/Dress Code: NONE, must be clean and presentable

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2-3

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
