Over-the-Road Truck Driver (Reefer) — Class A CDL

Compensation: $95,000/year average annual earnings (Drivers in this position have averaged $100,000 in annualized earnings over the past six to twelve months)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (limited time)
Onboarding Location: Ogden, UT

Position Overview

Deliver fresh and frozen foods in refrigerated (reefer) trailers from Treehouse distribution centers to grocery distributors across the country. Loads include single and multi-stop deliveries, with trailers preloaded except for backhauls, which this driver is required to pick up. While the account will do its best to route drivers within the Midwest, Southwest, and West, drivers must be willing to deliver to any state on the route list below.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Willing and able to chain tires as weather dictates
• Comfortable driving mountain passes

Schedule

• 6 consecutive days on, with a 34-hour reset each week
• Flexible to work any 6 days based on customer need
• 2 to 3 resets per month on the road; 1 to 2 resets per month at home
• Start times between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Average 11 to 13 hour days
• Average 5 layovers per week

Delivery Details

• Freight is live-unloaded by the customer at the receiver
• Average unload time is 3 hours
• Required to pick up backhauls
• Required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed

Equipment

• Automatic sleeper trucks (Internationals)
• No built-in refrigerator; driver may bring their own
• Pets allowed with proper authorization forms
• Passengers allowed with proper authorization forms
• Truck may be taken home during time off with management approval
• Driver must maintain a safe, management-approved parking location for the truck

Special Requirements

• Onboards in Ogden, UT
• CDP provides travel, and the account covers hotel stays during training
• Training is conducted over the road, with hotel layovers provided

Pay Details

• New hire training pay: $200/day
• Holiday pay: $200/day
• $10,000 sign-on bonus (limited time)
• Onsite management support
• Paid online orientation
