Responsibilities Medical–Surgical nurses provide direct care to adult patients in a variety of settings and are the largest group of nurses. They care for patients with multiple diagnoses across multiple medical specialties. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing inpatient, medical–surgical care. New York State healthcare provider license or willingness to obtain one.
