Responsibilities and pay will increase with experience. Self-starter, the ability to work with others, punctuality, a must./ph3Responsibilities:/h3pPrimary responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the set-up, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication of metallic parts or assemblies through welding by the means of a robotic machine. May also be responsible for programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting welding robots, and implementing robotic welding into production. Additionally, you will:/pulliAbility to select and change tools per SOP./liliApply principles of basic welding fundamentals, understand AWS symbols and blueprints./liliVisual inspection of parts to confirm correct weld path/liliIdentify and select correct robotic welding parameters, welding procedures, operations, and programs./liliCreate robotic welding programs, modify existing welding programs, and conduct welding cell cycle time calculations./liliTroubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of robotic equipment and welding equipment./li/ulh3Job Requirements:/h3ulliStrong analytical thinking, problem solving, and computer skills./liliKnowledgeable of automation equipment, processes, and systems/liliInterpret blueprints and drawings./liliAdapt to technology changes quickly and seamlessly./liliAble to work independently and as part of a team./liliAble to safely lift up to 50 pounds./liliManual dexterity in extremities to open and close clamps, grab onto parts and push buttons./liliBasic computer skills, e-mail, excel and time keeping systems./li/ulh3Education and Experience:/h3ulliMust be able to clear drug screen and background check./liliMust have reliable transportation./liliReliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)/liliHigh school or equivalent (Required) with classes in Robotics and/or Welding at the Junior College level./liliCertificate in Welding, Metals Fabrication or Machining and/or an associates degree in Welding or Robotics. (Preferred)/li/ulh3Work Environment:/h3pBe able to work in a loud, noisy, and congested environment. May be expose to extreme temperatures hot and cold and dusty areas, work is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions, proper protective clothing is required to protect against extreme temperature conditions. Smoke from Welding Robot could be present.
