Shift Timings:Mon-Fri 8AM - 5PM

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Analyst/Chemist to support laboratory operations through chemical testing, sample preparation, data analysis, and reporting.
• The ideal candidate will have experience performing wet chemistry analyses, working with oil samples, and utilizing analytical and other instrumentation in a laboratory environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced wet chemistry laboratory testing and analysis.
• Prepare, process, and analyze crude and related samples in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and analytical data.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support research, testing, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for data management, reporting, presentations, and communication.

Qualifications Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• General chemistry laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience handling and testing oil samples.
• Previous Laborartory Setting experience
• Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Experience with CHNS Elemental Analysis.
• Experience using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field with laboratory experience; or
• High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant laboratory experience.
