Job Description Throughout your shift here, you’ll be helping to wash, dry, inspect, test, destroy, label, pack, and store drums and tote containers. The specific tasks vary daily depending on manpower needs. You may operate a power washer, a vacuum, a forklift, or other tools. This environment is not climate‑controlled, can be loud at times, and may have a chemical odor because we are washing containers that previously held chemicals. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, doing physically demanding work that is repetitive and somewhat strenuous. The job is stable and offers a friendly team environment. To thrive, you must be physically able to lift a 35‑lb bottle repeatedly, have basic math skills for counting, and possess a strong work ethic. A high‑school diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation are required. Typical Shift Highlights Friendly, long‑time employees eager to help new workers. Forklift activity – may receive forklifting training and certification. Regular cleaning of containers and facility. Safety meetings each shift; PPE provided and safety standards maintained. Responsibilities Meet production standards within required time. Maintain good housekeeping and clean work area. Perform assignments per safety specifications and instructions. Ensure safety and quality throughout production. Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to maintain safety and quality standards. Report all production waste/issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor. Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager. Follow all company policies and procedures. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Understand plant safety guidelines and pass required safety training. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Troubleshoot problems and report issues. Work well in a team environment. Physical Requirements Stand on feet 8‑12 hours per shift. Use hands and fingers to perform job function. Stoop, kneel, bend, and climb as needed. Lift up to 50 lbs.
