Director of Security Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience leading engineering teams that deliver security solutions and operations on cloud platforms and applications
• Experience building security engineering products and platforms used at scale by developers and security practitioners
• Experience developing and leading globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing engineering and technical leadership talent
• Experience owning or managing a product, including roadmap ownership and stakeholder alignment
• Strong expertise in endpoint, server, and workload protection technologies across modern enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to deliver AI-enabled or automation-driven platforms that improve security outcomes
• Experience designing and operating container security capabilities in large-scale Kubernetes or containerized environments
• Experience building internal developer or security platforms within large, regulated enterprises
• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles and product security operating models
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure platforms
• Background in modern detection, prevention, or endpoint protection technologies
• Strong understanding of risk-based security decision-making at enterprise scale

• Lead and grow a globally distributed security engineering organization of approximately 20 engineers, delivering platforms and services across the firm
• Own the strategy, execution, and lifecycle of an AI-powered security copilot that helps Product Security Leads scale risk identification and remediation
• Oversee the design, deployment, and operation of endpoint and server antivirus capabilities across diverse environments
• Lead the design, delivery, and operation of container security products, including image scanning, policy enforcement, and runtime protection
• Partner with application, infrastructure, and product teams to embed security controls into developer and operational workflows
• Set technical direction and architectural standards for scalable, resilient, automated security engineering solutions
• Turn firm-wide security objectives into measurable engineering roadmaps, milestones, and outcomes
• Influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Make decisions affecting team resources, budgets, operational priorities, and the implementation of processes and procedures
• Take responsibility for staffing, budgets, and relevant profit and loss
