TransCore is seeking hardworking Construction Laborers with fiber pulling or underground utility experience to support fiber optic installation projects throughout the Tampa/Hillsborough Area. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a crew, and building critical infrastructure, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Pull, place, and secure fiber optic cable in underground conduit systems
• Assist with conduit, handhole, and pull box installation
• Support fiber installation crews with job site preparation and material handling
• Perform trenching, restoration, and general construction labor activities
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Follow company safety procedures and work as part of a team
• Travel to project locations and work night shifts when required

What We're Looking For

• Fiber optic cable pulling experience preferred
• Experience in telecom, underground utility, construction, or roadway projects
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment
• Ability to work at elevations of 50–80+ feet using bucket trucks, aerial lifts, ladders, and similar equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass project-required background screening and security clearances

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fiber installation equipment and cable pulling operations
• CDL-A License
• Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
