Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Gynecology and Genitourinary Procedures
Portland, Maine
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including 1:4 weekends and one overnight call for trauma.
We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team specializing in gynecology and genitourinary procedures at our Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise as a CST, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Responsibilities:
- Competently assist in surgical procedures, including Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopy.
- Provide care for a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Ensure compliance with surgical protocols and safety standards in the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 3 years of level 1 trauma experience as a CST.
- Required certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Experience in gynecology and genitourinary specialties is preferred.
