Data Engineer

Implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects Develop and deploy data pipelines and platforms Organize disparate data and make it available and meaningful Work with data engineers, developers, and data consumers Contribute in a fast-paced, agile environment Use data to generate insights for mission-driven applications Requirements 3+ years of experience with data pipelines, including data acquisition, data preparation, and database architecture 2+ years of experience in ETL development using Java, Python, and SQL 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or Kafka Experience with AWS services Experience with NiFi Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and concepts to develop an MLOps ecosystem Top Secret clearance required Bachelor’s degree Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools such as Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible Experience with Agile development methodologies Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications Ability to pay strict attention to detail Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and deploying data pipelines, utilizing Java, Python, and SQL, while leveraging AWS services and tools like NiFi and Terraform.
