ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our dynamic clinical team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate effective decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments expertly and accurately.
Document patient data and care provided in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
Participate in care planning and facilitate patient and family education.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in the ICU setting.
Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of full-time staff ICU RN experience prior to any travel assignments.
Current Hawaii RN License is required.
Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
Specialty certifications (CRN, CCRN, CV-BC) are highly desired.

Additional Information

All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and maintained throughout the contract duration.
Requested Time Off (RTO) during the contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days.
Travel may be required to float to areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs.

Compliance Requirements

Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date.
Failure to meet compliance deadlines may result in a delayed start date.
