Join the Rolling Hills Health & Rehab team as a Dietary Aide in our Topeka, Kansas location. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of dining experiences for our residents. Rolling Hills is a family owned and operated retirement community in Topeka, Kansas , with over 40 years of experience in the retirement housing industry.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, food service, and dish washing to ensure the smooth operation of our dining department. You will also interact with residents, families, and staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including portion control, food plating, and food presentation
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dish washing and sanitation
Assist with food service, including serving residents and handling cash transactions
Interact with residents, families, and staff to provide exceptional customer service
Maintain accurate records and inventory of food and supplies
Participate in meal planning and menu development
Assist with special events and functions
