RN - Labor & Delivery (Onsite Contract), Silver Spring, MD

RonInfoTech Solutions is hiring an RN – Labor & Delivery for an onsite contract position in Silver Spring, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding childbirth, newborn care, and recovery.
• Provide neonatal care and function as the Baby RN when required.
• Work effectively in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) environments.
• Assist in OR procedures related to obstetrical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Contract and Schedule
Duration: 90 days
Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Experience in LDRP and acute care hospital settings.
• Comfort working in an operating room (OR) environment.
• Strong maternal, newborn, and postpartum care experience.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Required Certifications

• Active RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Pay Rate

• Non-local travelers: $55.03/hour (includes $32.12/hour taxable pay and $22.92/hour per diem)
• Local candidates (within 60 miles): $47.83/hour

This position is open only to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.
