Job Title: Welder and Fabricator Job Description

Join our team as a skilled MIG Welder and Fabricator on a contract-to-hire basis. You will play a vital role in welding and fabricating steel to create frames and components for extended truck beds. Your expertise in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and independent work will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel materials to fabricate frames and components.

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

• Utilize bandsaws and other fabrication machinery.

• Work independently to complete welding and fabrication tasks.

• Ensure quality and precision in all welding and fabricating activities.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in MIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficiency in using bandsaws and fabrication machinery.

• Capability to work independently and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic fitting skills.

• Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility equipped with various work stations, fabrication machinery such as press brakes and bandsaws, and dedicated welding stations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6am to 3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime on some Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
