Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide holistic nursing care, and notify physicians of significant changes. Care Planning & Coordination: Develop, direct, and evaluate individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Treatment Implementation: Prepare patients for procedures, implement physician orders, and ensure patient safety protocols, including medication administration. Ongoing Evaluation & Adjustment: Regularly reassess patient responses to interventions, adapt care to changing needs, and communicate with physicians for modifications. Effective Communication & Handoffs: Utilize Bedside Shift Report, provide thorough patient updates, and delegate tasks for seamless care transitions. Safety & Quality Assurance: Maintain a safe patient and work environment, promptly address hazards, and actively contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing At least one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire Basic Life Support – CPR, within 14 days Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire Location Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, McNair Campus, Texas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
