Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Rotating Days/Nights

Role: RN - Float Pool (Registered Nurse Resource Team) Responsibilities Float across inpatient units providing individualized, goal-directed patient care. Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process. Maintain current competency, promote safety, and document thoroughly. Guide and supervise nursing staff, support professional development, and contribute to a positive work environment. Integrate ethical standards, evidence-based practice, and research into daily nursing activities. Recognize and respond to emergency situations appropriately. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of acute care inpatient RN experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Effective communication skills and ability to supervise staff. Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required based on unit needs. Key Duties Provide high-quality patient care across various inpatient units. Participate in safety initiatives and emergency responses. Support staff development and maintain professional growth.
