ER Registration Clerk

What You’ll Do: Greet and register patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate data entry into the hospital system. Verify insurance coverage and assist with financial clearance processes. Collect necessary documentation and obtain patient signatures. Perform cashiering and payment collection duties as needed. Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely bed placement. Confirm insurance eligibility and communicate coverage details to patients. Support discharge processing in collaboration with Case Management and Financial Counseling. Serve as a welcoming presence in the ER, guiding patients and visitors with empathy and professionalism. What You Bring: Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced hospital setting. Familiarity with insurance verification is a MUST Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable pushing mobile computer carts and being on your feet in the ER. Schedule & Pay: Full-Time | Contract to hire roles $25/HR Fullerton ER Clerk Mid Shift Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (8-hour shifts) Shift Start Time: Variable mid-shift start times between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM Mission Viejo 3:30pm start time day shift 4/10 hour shift weekend availability Orange, CA 1 ER Clerk Mid Shift start times between 12:30pm, 3pm, and 5pm. 4 shifts 10 hours each. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. 1 ER Clerk Nights 7pm-8pm start times 4/10 hour shift per week weekend and holiday availability Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fullerton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
