Our wide variety of offerings provide cost-effective options to a kitchen of any size. Edible Cuts is growing and we are currently hiring for a Food Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the packaging process and ensure it runs smoothly. Operating the filling line, packaging products properly, palletizing, labeling and working in a fast-paced and safe environment.
• Ensure that packaged product makes it safely to the warehouse or distribution center.
• Make sure employees follow company guidelines and procedures
• Ensure standards of product quality, allergens, equipment and performance are maintained in order to maximize production
• Direct, coordinate and plan facility daily activities to ensure production goals are met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
• Make recommendations to upper management about service/purchase of equipment as needed
• Take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner in accordance with company policy

Requirements:

• 5+ years prior experience working in food manufacturing industry
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of FDA, USDA Food and safety regulations and labeling knowledge
• Excellent Organization and Multi-tasking Skills
• High attention to detail
• Must to be familiar with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in cold environment
• Flexibility with schedule and available to work overtime when needed
