Fleet Manager

Job Details Growing client in need of a senior Fleet Manager! $125,000 - $150,000 per year, company truck, phone, and gas card. Permanent position with a focus on managing an extensive fleet of heavy construction equipment. Responsibilities Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of heavy construction equipment. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fleet regulations. Develop and implement strategies for fleet replacement and disposal. Coordinate with project managers to ensure equipment availability and readiness for all construction projects. Manage selection, purchasing, and registration of new equipment. Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall fleet efficiency. Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives related to fleet management. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Provide regular reports on fleet operations to senior management. Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in fleet management, preferably in construction. Proven experience managing a large fleet of heavy construction equipment. In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal fleet regulations. Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in fleet management software and related technology. Preferred degree in Business Management, Logistics, or related field. Equity & Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k).
