The Food Manufacturing Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily kitchen production activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely manufacture of high-quality food products. This role oversees production personnel, maintains compliance with food safety and quality standards, optimizes productivity, and ensures production schedules are achieved while meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Purpose:

To provide supervision and direction to the Kitchen of all items produced at the Dallas facility.  Oversee the Kitchen and ensure proper staffing according to standard.  Ensure that safety procedures are maintained, and food safety policies are followed.  

• Ensure proper set-up of equipment/machinery and timely start-up of production.
• Ensure the product recipes and specifications are followed
• Ensure QA and USDA standards are adhered to
• Maintain crewing standards
• Monitor equipment and employee practices to maintain quality and safety standards
• Closely monitor product for quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Schedule product flow to maximize efficient use of available material and man hours
• Time and Attendance
• Yield reporting
• Work in process (WIP) Inventory transactions
• Involve employees in the production process thorough team building skills
• Efficiency awareness
• Employee awareness of USDA and QA procedures and requirements 
• All safety procedures are followed and are strictly observed
• Utilize FIFO in all materials and monitor WIP inventory to eliminate out of date product.
• Utilize the lean manufacturing tools to develop a culture of continuous improvement
• Any and all other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Must follow all Safety rules and Company Procedures 

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivelant
• Previous experience working in a high-volume MANUFACTURING kitchcen operation - food manufacturing a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
