RN - Rehab

Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 16:00, including every other weekend.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in an acute rehabilitation setting with a focus on recovery and rehabilitation. This role involves coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient mobilization and rehabilitation therapies.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention guidelines.
• Conduct patient education and discharge planning.
• Perform assessments and manage care for patients with various conditions, including neurological and orthopedic issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current California RN license, no pending licenses accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
