Electronics Technician - Oak Creek, WI

What You Will Do We are seeking an Electronics Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, or repair of various products supported by Astronautics. In this role, you will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test, troubleshoot, and repair integrated unit-level assemblies and circuit board assemblies down to the component level. You will also support assembly processes for both unit subassembly and the final integration of unit-level assemblies. This is an on-site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. This is a 1st shift position (7am - 3:30pm). How You Will Do It Perform in‑circuit and functional tests and component‑level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies. Utilize your mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble products per drawings or other documents using common tools. Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subassembly-level components. Integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex end‑item avionics assemblies. Adhere to the highest Aviation and Aerospace quality standards. What We Look For Required Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or another related program from an accredited institution. Equivalent military training will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry and the ability to troubleshoot complex assemblies to the component level. Ability to understand written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics. Ability to diagnose complex circuitry independently. Ability to pass a required electronics assessment. Ability to pass the Astronautics solder training program. Preferred Two years or more of electronic technician experience. Experience with circuit board automated and manual functional testing. Flying probe experience.
