Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

This position requires night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with a contract duration of 13 weeks and 36 hours scheduled per week, including every other weekend off and opportunities to pick up extra shifts.

Assignment Details

Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Current Washington State license or valid multi-state license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Approved 6-hour suicide training
• Verification of demographics from Nursys
• Knowledge of NIHSS preferred
• Meditech experience is helpful but not required
• Must be a team player and willing to float to other departments as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Document care provided and patient progress accurately
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff
