- Assist customers with bakery selections and provide exceptional service.
- Prepare and display a variety of baked goods, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Follow food safety guidelines and best practices in food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Engage in promotional activities to highlight new and seasonal products.
- Handle cash register transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous bakery experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Food handler’s certification is a plus.
- Passion for baking and a commitment to quality.
