Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Hospital Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Schedule: 5-8 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month Patient Population: Adult Location: Richland, WA Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide obstetric care, including emergency assessments and surgical interventions such as hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy surgeries, and more. Collaborate with a team of five midwives to support labor and delivery operations. Manage a high patient volume, approximately 25 encounters per shift. Provide comprehensive care for both high and low-risk pregnancies. Qualifications Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required. BLS certification required. Working Hours In-house 24-hour call shifts, several shifts per month. Skills Proficiency in handling high-risk and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and multiple births. Expertise in FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and routine and complicated deliveries is essential. Capable of performing gynecologic surgeries when necessary, with preference for laparoscopic and open procedures.
