CDL-A OTR Recovery Truck Driver – 3 Months Experience Compensation & Schedule Pay: $63,284 – $72,852 per year Payment interval: Yearly Schedule: Full‑time, 3–4 weeks out followed by 3–4 days home each cycle Workplace: Onsite (company tractor‑trailers) Home time: 3–4 days home every 3–4 weeks out Responsibilities Recover equipment (tractors and trailers) across the 48 contiguous states. Manage long‑haul trips of approximately 1,835 miles per week. Maintain vehicles and perform roadside assistance as needed. Coordinate with teams 5–10% of the time to agree on shop visits or to seat trucks. Handle downtime such as breakdowns, detentions, and delays in loads. Obtain rental cars and fly frequently when required; reimburse fuel costs. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 3 months of recent Class A CDL driving experience. 21 years of age or older. Cell phone capable of taking and sending pictures of trucks via email to the Fleet Manager. Ability to work independently while traveling long periods. Benefits Weekly pay.
