Senior Property Accountant

Overview Senior Property Accountant – Remote role supporting the East Coast Client Accounting team. Responsibilities Successfully complete monthly reporting and assist the Accounting Manager in audit processes. Coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow. Oversee the accuracy and productivity of all property management accounting and financial activities. Ensure all accounting reporting and scheduled check runs are accurate and all deadlines are met. Identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports, and continually seek opportunities for process improvements. Share knowledge and participate in training for new accountants. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA designation is an asset. Minimum of 4 years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry. Experience with computer applications including Excel, Word, and MRI. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Third Party Management experience. Ability to train and mentor new team members. Compensation Annual base salary range: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 (subject to location, experience, and skill set). Benefits Employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, and vision.
