CT Tech

A CT Tech is needed to independently perform computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. The candidate will work under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. They will coordinate patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. The candidate should exercise professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. They may perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. On-call responsibilities may be required. The candidate should have experience in various imaging techniques, including abdomen, chest, and head scans, among others. Preparation and administration of contrast media, along with venipuncture, are also required. The role may involve working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations. Professionalism and adherence to radiation safety protocols are essential in this position. The candidate must be comfortable floating to other units based on their skill sets and departmental needs.

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required

License: ODH licensure required

Certifications: ARRT RT (R) registry required CT registry preferred CPR Certification required Must-Have: Epic experience required
