Housekeeper

Provides for optimum cleanliness, sanitation, order and an aesthetically pleasing hospital environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key constituents and all levels of management and employees. * Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.

• Ability to work independently.
• Basic level computer proficiency and ability to use email for department

communications. * Ability to operate and/or willingness to learn the operation of housekeeping equipment; floor buffers, waxing and polishing machines, and other cleaning devices. * Adheres to standards of safety and infection control that meet federal and state regulations.

• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment
• Good time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate positive customer services skills
• Must be able to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions

in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one year of previous housekeeping experience preferred.
