Pre‑K Paraprofessional (Willow Creek) Starting Date: Aug 10, 2026 Job ID: 5691056 Position Type: Full‑Time Job Description: To help provide a smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. Qualifications: Certified Para Professional, 48 hours college credit, or must pass Para‑professional test. Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of assigned task. Reports To: Principal and Teacher Responsibilities Assists teacher in the educational process of special needs students. Assists students to and from buses. Monitors student if in isolation. Feeds and eats with students during lunch. Goes out to recess with students when needed. Takes students to and from bathroom. Works with students one‑on‑one for tutoring. Assists regular teacher with grading papers. Maintains classroom materials. Assists wheelchair‑ and physically handicapped students loading/unloading the bus. Assists physically handicapped students getting to other classes. Assists physically handicapped students with their feeding and toilet needs. Assists special education students in mainstreamed classes when needed. Assists with duplicating needed materials and helps with special education forms when asked. Helps with bulletin boards. Takes over the special education class when the teacher is absent. Performs other tasks and assumes responsibilities as the principal or teacher may assign from time to time.
