Dental Assistant with Experience About the Role Dental Office is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant with 1+ year of experience in general dentistry to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will support the clinical team by helping ensure smooth, patient-centered visits and a well-organized treatment environment. Duties & Responsibilities Assist the dentist during patient examinations, procedures, and treatment planning. Prepare operatory rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready for each appointment. Take and assist with dental radiographs according to office protocols. Provide chairside support by anticipating clinician needs and maintaining an efficient workflow. Support infection control by following sterilization, disinfection, and safety procedures. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining what to expect and answering basic questions. Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records as directed by office procedures. Assist with patient scheduling coordination and day-to-day front-office/clinical support tasks as needed. Support treatment follow-through by helping with post-visit instructions and coordination of next steps. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment throughout the day. Communicate professionally with patients and team members to support a positive visit experience. Requirements 1 year plus experience as a Dental Assistant in general dentistry. Active dental assistant license in the state of Florida. Strong team collaboration skills and a reliable, supportive work style. Ability to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Working knowledge of infection control and safety practices. Experience assisting with chairside procedures and routine dental workflows. Comfort using common dental office tools and documentation processes (software/tools used in the role may vary by office). Strong communication skills with patients and team members. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining patient comfort and clinic readiness.
