Halifax Area School District is Accepting Applications for the Following Position: Director of Special Education Halifax Area School District is seeking an innovative, Director of Special Education to administer and direct the Special Education Department, including educational programming of the highest quality with regard to teaching, technology, and support for identified students. Our district takes pride in its strong academic traditions, dedicated staff, and supportive community. We are looking for a dynamic educational leader with exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, a commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to promote student achievement while building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. This is a permanent, 12-month Act 93 position. Pennsylvania Supervisor of Special Education certification required. Salary and benefits dependent on qualifications, experience, and education.
