Wound Nurse (LPN/RN)s are compassionate and skilled professionals who deliver high-quality care to patients with complex wound management needs.Job Summary:We are seeking a Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) to join our team at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing wound care services to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Your expertise will include identifying wound care needs, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on wound management.Responsibilities:Assess patients' wound care needs and develop individualized care plansImplement wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and compression therapyMonitor patients' wound progress and adjust care plans as neededCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careEducate patients and families on wound care techniques and provide emotional supportDocument patient care and outcomes in accordance with facility policiesRequirements:Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania1 year or more of experience as a Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) or equivalent experience in a related fieldAbility to lift, transfer, and reposition patientsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with electronic medical records and wound care softwareHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and compassionate Wound Nurse (LPN/RN) looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply to this exciting role.
