Technical Writer

Overview Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Technical Writer in Albany, NY. Description The Technical Writer will be assigned to prepare high quality business and system process documentation for Program Optimization, Support and Transformation (POST). Daily tasks will include but are not limited to: Drafting thorough, accurate, clear and concise Business Process Guides (BPG) for complex processes, using established standardized templates Facilitating meetings with cross‑functional teams and subject matter experts (SME) to capture stakeholder responsibilities, workflow steps and all necessary process details Researching and analyzing existing process‑related documentation Developing task plans, tracking tasks and communicating updates, escalating concerns and issues, and providing status reports Producing and maintaining deliverables using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio Qualifications Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non‑technical personnel. Develops and/or maintains system documentation, user manuals, installation guides and computer operations and program maintenance manuals.
