CT TechnologistSchedule: Fri Sun 7am - 7:30pm. On call and holiday requirement: 2-3 call shifts/month.Assignment Details:Contract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements:New York State CT Tech LicenseBLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)Two (2) years' experience in a Level 1 Trauma CenterExperience with Siemens equipment preferredEpic experience preferredTelemetry experience requiredInjection therapy certification preferred or must be willing to complete during orientationRoles & Responsibilities:Confirm patient identity and exam verification before scans.Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging.Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.Insert IVs as needed for tests.Position patients safely, utilizing appropriate handling techniques.Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems, including documenting necessary components and ensuring proper image management.Compliance / Notes:Orientation process will include necessary certification completion.
