Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Provide open heart recovery care and monitoring for post-operative cardiovascular patients
• Operate and manage intra-aortic balloon pump as required for assigned patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• Cardiovascular nursing experience including open heart recovery
• Intra-aortic balloon pump experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
