Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role in West Sacramento, CA at an outpatient facility where you will provide mobile radiography services and occasional EKGs. You will perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• State radiology license valid for California. Limited licenses not accepted. Compact licensure not accepted.
• Maintain required state licenses, ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 required, unless a documented exemption is approved.
• Experience performing mobile/portable X-ray exams in nursing homes, long-term care, outpatient, or similar settings preferred.
• Experience operating portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submitting/transmitting images to radiologists.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull radiography equipment; may involve up to 50–100 lbs intermittently.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred as a Radiologic Technologist.

Position Details and Responsibilities:

• Role: Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other client sites.
• Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR radiography equipment and transmit images to a radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and transport into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, obtaining diagnostically and technically competent images.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to a cardiologist for interpretation when required.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, peers, and client staff in a professional manner.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in safe, operational condition.
• Work schedule: Flex shifts. Shift 1: Tuesday–Saturday (AM/Day). Shift 2: Friday–Tuesday (AM/PM). Weekend coverage based on caseload; overtime may apply.
• Direct hire. Duration indicated as a 52-week assignment in order notes; actual hire type and duration will be confirmed during the recruiting process.
