RN - Registered Nurse Night Shift

Location 5837 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 Shift 7:00pm-7:00am Compensation Up to $83,000 per year. Sign‑on Bonus Full‑time RN: $5,000. Your Role in the Organization The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Essential Elements of Your Job Lead and support all functions related to quality care for our residents. Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants. Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies. Complete processes and paperwork related to admission, transfer, and discharge of residents. Receive telephone orders from physicians and record them on the Physician Order Form. Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication records, treatment/care plans as required. Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident and the resident's response to the care. Qualifications Valid unencumbered nursing license. Valid CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain during orientation. Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
