Job Overview Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets requirements of the Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Education & Hiring Incentive BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

Exercise Professional Autonomy: Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data. 12‑hour shifts Day/Night rotation Every third weekend $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position Licensure & Certification Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire. Must Meet The Following Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months’ experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (equivalent to 1,248 hours), including experience with vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring. These hours may come from a combination of varied FTEs or hours worked within the last year to equate to 1,248 hours.
