Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Position Overview :

Seeking a General Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing inpatient cardiology coverage. The physician will primarily provide onsite coverage and will also support a secondary location during the assigned seven-day coverage period.

Responsibilities:

Provide general cardiology consultations and inpatient rounding.
Perform TEE and cardioversions .
Supervise stress testing.
Provide cardiology call coverage during the assigned seven-day period.
Provide night and weekend call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM .
Weekend call coverage runs from 5:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday .
Prioritize weekend morning stress testing when scheduled.
Support inpatient cardiology needs across both coverage locations.

Patient Volume :

Primary location: Approximately total inpatients .
Secondary location: Approximately patients per day , with inpatient cardiology needs being relatively infrequent.
STEMI patients are managed by Interventional Cardiology.

Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiology - Required
Active SC license - Required
BLS & ACLS certifications - Required
