About the Position

Locums Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Greenville, North Carolina - 7 On 7 Off, No Call

Work a block-scheduled neuroscience ICU assignment with adult critical care procedures, low per-provider volume, and around-the-clock physician and advanced practice coverage.

Highlights

• Approximately 4 patients per provider per day
• 24-hour physician and advanced practice coverage
• Adult neuroscience ICU focus

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient neurological care with approximately 20 beds
• Diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation planning for neurological disorders
• Arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management
• Approximately 2 admissions per day across the service

Schedule

• Seven consecutive shifts followed by seven days off
• 12-hour shifts
• Night coverage for recurring blocks
• No call responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Active North Carolina license required
• ACLS and BLS required
