**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Cardiac Sonographer!** **Job Description:** - Exciting opportunity to work under the direction of a physician, performing a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures. - Utilize your independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to create technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by cardiologists or radiologists. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Support and promote our mission and values. - Provide high-quality, timely diagnostic exams for physician interpretation. - Assist cardiologists during invasive ultrasound procedures. - Maintain current NH State License and appropriate credentials. - Perform quality ultrasound exams on patients in assigned area. - Implement clinical protocols and policies. - Review order requisition for pertinent information, special requests, and correct procedures. - Assist patient reception staff with information as needed. - Complete documentation on patient exams to ensure appropriate exam charges. - Maintain medical supplies and stock items in all rooms. - Prepare and clean patient exam rooms. - Prepare all necessary equipment for patient exams. - Participate in additional duties as needed. **Job Requirements:** - **Job Knowledge and Skills:** - Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, families, staff, and physicians. - **Education and Experience:** - Degree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required. - Certification in cardiac ultrasound by ARDMS or CCI within 12 months of graduation. - Basic Life Support certification required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. **Working Conditions / Physical Demands:** - Must possess the physical and mental abilities for tasks including sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. - Ability to lift/carry frequently up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. - Engage in a high-responsibility environment dedicated to quality patient care. **Americans with Disabilities Statement:** - Must be able to perform all essential functions with reasonable accommodation if disabled. **Standard of Business Conduct:** - All employees are required to abide by the Standards of Conduct and report any violations. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
