MACHINE OPERATOR

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team at our Arcade, NY plant. In this role, you will play a key part in producing high-quality products in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. The compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $19.50, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.”

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily operation of equipment to process and manufacture feed products Operate the bagger, sewing machine, forklift and all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Follow warehouse and loading protocols Ensure Kent Nutrition's quality assurance is met regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging Record and document all feed manufactured during shift Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently assuring accuracy and high quality Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations Other duties as assigned by Plant Management

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED 3 to 5 years manufacturing/factory experience Farming background a plus Mechanical aptitude preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
