Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identify customer needs and provide advice on financial solutions. Collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners across channels to achieve business objectives. Identify referral opportunities that deepen the customer relationship beyond personal banking. Welcome and guide customers in the lobby, offering advice on digital and self‑serve options to make banking easy, simple and fast. Assist in client conversations, recommend alternative banking channels and provide personal banking and investment advice. Meet transaction‑based needs with seamless execution. Review customer profiles, engage in needs‑based conversations and identify opportunities for everyday banking and credit card needs. Contribute to meeting branch business results and enhancing the customer experience. Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, and completion of customer applications. Probe for personal banking and credit card needs and integrate marketing promotions into conversations. Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Find creative approaches that provide a personal experience for each customer. Continuously improve the overall customer experience. Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customers’ assets and privacy. Stay current with the financial services marketplace, legal and regulatory environment, and industry ethical requirements. Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices and trends. Identify and report suspicious activity that may be related to money laundering. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements for the jurisdiction. Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits. Analyze issues, determine next steps, and escalate as required. Act in line with the Risk Management Framework, risk culture, policies, laws and regulations. Qualifications 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months). Proficiency with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and applications. Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles. Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions. Passionate commitment to delivering a personal customer experience. The range may vary based on location, skills, experience and qualifications and may include a commission structure.
