Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a skilled School Psychologist on a contract basis near Elgin, IL. This opportunity enables you to collaborate with educators, families, and students to promote success across academic, behavioral, and emotional domains.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Strong knowledge of special education evaluation procedures
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and students
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
• TDB

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that support student learning and well-being
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide clear recommendations, and document progress
• Offer consultation and guidance to educational teams for behavioral and academic interventions
• Support crisis intervention and help deliver counseling services as needed
• Engage with students individually and in groups to promote their mental and emotional health
