Multi-Modality Technologist (CT/Xray) Full Time- Abington Jefferson Health

Full Time Multi-Modality Xray/CT

Reporting to the Radiology Manager, this position will perform imaging examinations/procedures in two or more modalities. This position will be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections per operational needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Operating radiologic equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.
• Monitoring patient condition during imaging procedures, alerting the physician of any complications.
• Providing radiologists with high-quality images to aid in diagnosis.
• Complying with all radiologic safety regulations.
• Properly positioning patients and imaging equipment prior to procedures. Administering oral or injected contrast prior to procedures when necessary.
• Creating and maintaining reports regarding patient data and radiologic treatment records.
• Maintaining a regular work schedule split between two or more modalities and based on business needs.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

Associates degree preferred

AND

Experience:

1 year of relevant experience in primary modality required

1 year of relevant experience in secondary modality required

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB required for primary and secondary modality
