Shifts are 5x8, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00.

Assignment Details

This position is part of a bid process, with no guarantee of selection. Candidates will be notified within 7-14 business days after the bid closes on 9/28.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential preferred or required based on specifications.
• New York State licensure or eligibility, if applicable.
• Experience in correctional, clinical, acute-care, or institutional food-service preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition services to patients in a secure correctional setting.
• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor patients with chronic conditions, special diets, malnutrition, and other nutritional needs.
• Make appropriate diet recommendations and collaborate with medical staff.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and healthcare staff.
• Review medical records and document interventions while monitoring patient progress.
