About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry | Float Pool

Location

Tucson, AZ | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float between multiple acute care facilities as required within this Float Pool position

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities as part of a Float Pool assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Strong adaptability and comfort working across varied acute care departments and settings
