Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Fort Worth, TX where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment and care of patients with breathing disorders. The role includes patient assessment, airway management, ventilator management, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to optimize respiratory care. Respond promptly to changes in patient status and document treatments and outcomes according to facility and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting, including ventilator management and ICU support. (Client-specific requirement.)
• Ability to work rotating weekends as required by the facility. (Client-specific requirement.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred.
• Experience with hospital-grade ventilators and arterial blood gas interpretation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700–1830.
• Schedule includes rotating weekends.
